What Does Crankshaft Sensor Do
The crankshaft position sensor measures the speed of rotation of the crankshaft and the position of the crankshaft at any particular time and converts it to an electronic signal. This electronic signal is then transferred to the ECU to calculate the timing of the ignition and the amount of fuel injection.
